FEBRUARY 2024 REPORT FROM CHURCH LEADERS' MEETINGS

The leaders of the Billericay churches, their deputies and representatives of ministries and organisations supported by Churches Together in Billericay meet monthly across the church locations.

It is the responsibility of the host church to email a meeting reminder, produce an agenda, chair the meeting, produce and distribute minutes following the meeting.

The CLM meets for fellowship—to strengthen relationships. For prayer—for each other, for our churches, for events that are happening or for our town in general. To facilitate a shared Kingdom vision for our town—to help us see how our individual churches fit within the bigger picture of what God is doing in Billericay.

The following events and activities were the fruits of these monthly meetings:

The CTB marquee at Soap Box Derby.

Monthly 'Love Billericay' prayer meetings at the Chantry Centre.

This year a new initiative of termly 'Love Billericay' worship & prayer events was launched. Two have been held so far. One at Billericay Baptist Church and the other at Emmanuel.

Remembrance Day service in the High Street involving church leaders and Billericay Street Pastors.

Billericay Christmas Market at which we had two outreach events. At St Mary’s—carols & refreshments. At the Community Hub—Street Pastors, Baby Basics and Revive Spiritual Spa.
